⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great first experience at The Ritz on Union in Schenectady! From the beautiful décor to the food, drinks, and service, everything made for a wonderful evening. I started with the calamari, which was delicious. I especially loved the nice touch of the balsamic drizzle with marinara on the side. For my entrée, I had the pappardelle pasta with short rib ragù definitely a dish I would order again. And, of course, the zeppolis for dessert! The cocktails were also a highlight. If you enjoy prosecco, definitely try the Blossom Prosecco cocktail. 🥂🌸 What really stood out was the hospitality. Anthony, the owner, personally came over to every table and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Since it was our first visit, that extra effort made us feel especially welcomed. Diana was our server and, although she was new, she was attentive, sweet, and took great care of us throughout the evening. I also appreciated seeing so many gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options on the menu, making it a great choice for groups with different dietary preferences. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, excellent drinks, and genuinely welcoming service. We will definitely be back! 🫶🏾

Nicole gave excellent service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfectly. She checked on us at the right times without being intrusive, kept our drinks refilled, and had a great attitude the entire meal. Nicole really made the experience enjoyable, and I’d definitely come back because of her service. Amazing experience! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, and everything made for a great time. Nicole was absolutely fantastic—she had such a positive attitude, was attentive, and made the experience even better. Her drinks were amazing and perfectly made. Will definitely be back!

Came for a drink, stayed for the pizza—and both delivered. 🍸🍕 The cocktails were spot on (balanced, creative, and dangerously easy to keep ordering), and the pizza hit that perfect crispy sweet spot. Shoutout to Sarah behind the bar! She was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows her stuff. Great recommendations, great vibes, and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back.

If I could give this place a 100/10 I would. 1. The service: phenomenal. As soon as you walk in, the hostess was so friendly and welcoming. Our server, Danielle, was the best. She was very polite, helpful with suggestions and recommendations and answering dietary needs questions, she checked on us regularly and refilled our water. Everything came out so quickly and overall service was great. BONUS: the owner, Anthony, personally came to our table, made a few jokes and had a few laughs with us and brought our table a little treat. He was so personable and kind. He told us about the restaurant and the business and it made the whole experience feel so homey and welcoming. We were whole fully pleased by our interaction with him because he was so kind and made the experience even more enjoyable. 2. The food: AMAZING!! We started with the Wasabi Shrimp (thank you Danielle for the rec) and the calamari. Everything tasted so fresh and hot when it came out. For our entree we ordered Haddock, Mushroom Risotto and Brick Chicken. Each item was soooo delicious, unique flavors, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
